CD Review from John Jones...KICM Radio
Rumors of a moving and entertaining foursome from Western Oklahoma have funneled in and out of my earshot for the past 18 or so months.  Tales of a talented singer/song writer with a raspy yet smooth voice comparable to that of Mike McClure; however with a stage presence that can only be described as a mix between Cody Canada, Jason Boland, and the late Gary Stewart; have been echoed within the Red Dirt Music Scene.  This mystical illusion that has been hidden from those east of I-35 is Bobby Dale and Next of Kin.  Since the release of their debut album "All This Thinkin'", Bobby Dale and his young fresh companions have opened for some of country music's biggest stars and have played to fan's in ballroom's and party clubs across the Southwest.  The raw power of his music is touching, while the mixture of hard and smooth guitar licks, combined with the thunder of a double peddled kick drum and harmony that is truly unmatched to my ear; make Bobby Dale and Next of Kin a force to soon be reckoned with in the new country revolution.  The title cut to his album "All This Thinkin'" presents the music lover with everything they could ever want.  Lyrics that find a place deep inside your heart and a chorus that says what we all have wanted too at one point or another…"All this thinkin', gonna drive me to drinkin'".  Armed with an album which is loaded with 10 emotionally charged originals and a live performance that includes covers from Boland, Ragweed, Prince, Metallica, Randy Rogers, and others including…do I dare say it….Vanilla Ice; Bobby Dale and Next of Kin are true entertainers that carry passion for not only their music, but music as a whole…and for you, the ones that they play the music for.  5 STARS!

Bobby Dale Mcfarland, borned and raised in Lawton, OK, first started playing guitar when i was 16 never really got hooked up on it tell i was 18, cause i was a ball player and i was gonna play ball at OU but i changed my mind and moved out on my own and really had alot of time on my hands so i got to work on my song writing and my ability to sing, coming from a family full of music talent, some of my big influences are my family members, my uncle Johnny L Caldwell, Uncle Don Caldwell, and my Grandpa, Bobby Caldwell, these guys are solid gold country performers and have been around the world. There has been alot of times that i just wanted to give up and just walk away from the music scene and ill just sit down and grab my ol guitar kick me off an ol HANK JR tune and say HELL NO there aint no quit in my blood, I have alot of goals in my music and a long road ahead of me to reach them, all i can say is WATCH OUT CAUSE HERE I COME!!!!!!!!

Waylon Holley borned in Grants, New Mexico, raised Rush Springs, OK, Firsted picked up a guitar when he was 5 yrs old has been playing on stage 7 and now is 28, white and SINGLE, lol, Waylon started playing Bass guitar when he was 19 and figured out that was his road he wanted to take, Waylon is not only a bass player he is my backbone of harmony, music is waylons passion so between his 4 year old son Waylon rider holly and his music there is no more room for nothing else!!

Andy Moser has been playing professionally for 15 years. He helped start the alternative-rock group Petrofeen in Lawton, Oklahoma in 1995. After 5 years of playing he decided to go back to his roots: country. He then, with the help of Waylon Holley, was an intricate part in The Robert Douglass and Dusty Road Band. After opening for many national acts and playing the rodeo circuit, Andy started playing with the Alamo band out of Lawton., then Crosswind, then, while trying to find Crosswind a booking agent, he got picked up by Austin's Doug Moreland. Andy played with Doug for two years and befriended such Texas red-dirt acts as: Pat green, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Stoney Larue, Randy Rogers, Kevin Fowler, and Radney Foster. While playing in Texas, Andy had made his wife Amber a promise that if she got into nursing school in Norman then he would cash in his College Diploma. Well, she got in school and Andy got a teaching job at Carl Albert in Midwest City. Now for the last year he has been teaching school and playing with Bobby Dale.

Tony growing up was always airdrumming to all kinds of different music on the radio. When Tony was 11 his mother borrowed the money to buy him a percussion set, then when he turned 13 he got his first real set of drums and spent many hours in the cellar. Tony then decided to take drum lessons from Jason Vela, who was an amazing drummer. Tony had plyed in a few bands in his past including Borrowed Eminence, which went on for three years. Tony is currently attending Cameron University and working on his music degree. Tonys favorite drummers are, Joey Jordison(Slipknot), Matt Mcdonough(Mudvayne).
